Math (All classes are available starting March 4th)
**PK and Kindergarten Math classes run once per week for 4 weeks ($80/session), and focus on counting, number recognition, learning how to write numbers and draw basic shapes, as well as the being introduced to the concept of addition and subtraction. Student/teacher ratio is only 8:1
**Every 1st-8th grade Math class starts with a reviewing of basic arithmetic concepts. The reviews are tied in with the lesson of the day. As students study the concept in theory, they will also apply it in practice. Every class ends with a mini quiz for all topics covered in class that day. After every class, 15 to 30 minutes of homework will be assigned for an independent review.

Through songs, games and hands-on activities, PK students will learn how to count and identify numbers to at least 30, learn basic shapes, and will be introduced to the concepts of addition and subtraction. You can "count" on Think Tank to teach your child the skills they need to be successful when they enter school!
Kindergarten Mathemagicians (5 and 6 year olds)
Mondays 4:00-4:50pm OR 5:00-5:50pm
Also through songs, games and hands-0n activities, Kindergarteners will learn to count and identify numbers to 100, learn how to write numbers, learn 2-D and 3-D shapes, and be introduced to the concept of place value, addition, subtraction and multiplication. The skills in this class will ensure your child will excel in first grade!
Critical Thinking and Logic (4th-8th grade)
Mondays AND Wednesdays 3:00-3:50pm
Want to challenge your child's thinking skills? This is the perfect class for them! A fun and motivating way for students to expand their thought processes by solving logic puzzles. Students will work both independently and in groups to strategize and converse about the best ways to solve a wide variety of critical thinking and logic problems. A challenging, but FUN, Think Tank approach for children of all ages.
Adding/Subtracting Facts & Problem Solving (1st & 2nd grade)
Mondays AND Wednesdays 4:00-4:50pm
A fun, but challenging, problem solving approach to learning addition and subtraction using everyday concepts. The class ranges from solving single to three digit problems based on the students confidence and success. A fun way to master the skills that will be used as foundation for future levels of Math.
Multiplying/Dividing Facts & Problem Solving (3rd & 4th grade)
Mondays AND Wednesdays 5:00-5:50pm
A fun, but challenging, problem solving approach to learning multiplication and division. Students learn multiplication facts up till 15 and some nifty tricks for quick multiplication rules. This class builds the foundation for fractions, decimals, percents and ratios.
